What services do you offer?
We provide counseling, coaching, and consulting for educators, students, and high-achieving professionals navigating burnout, stress, anxiety, and overwhelm. Services include individual counseling or coaching sessions, workshops, and wellness-focused consulting.

Do you accept insurance?
Insurance accepted for counseling: BCBS, Aetna, Priority Health
Coaching and consulting are not covered by insurance

What is a superbill?
A superbill is a detailed receipt you can submit to your insurance company for possible
reimbursement. Coverage varies by plan. BCN is not eligible for a superbill from this provider.
Do you accept Medicaid and Medicare?
Unfortunately, we are not able to accept Medicaid and Medicare at this time. You are
welcome to inquire about a sliding scale fee.

Your first session is a supportive space to share what’s going on and identify next steps.
What can I expect in the first session?
We’ll discuss your current challenges, learn a little about your history and the context of your life, and begin clarifying your goals. No preparation needed—just come as you are.
Is this confidential?
Yes. Counseling services are confidential, with a few legal exceptions (such as risk of harm or mandated reporting). These will be explained during intake. Coaching services also prioritize privacy and professionalism.
Do you offer virtual or in-person sessions?
Counseling sessions are offered in person in Lansing and virtually for residents of the state of Michigan. Coaching is available in person or virtually for anyone.
What is your cancellation policy?
We require 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations or missed sessions may incur a fee.
Do you offer services for schools or organizations?
Yes. We offer professional development, workshops, and consulting focused on educator wellbeing and sustainable practice.
How do I know if this is the right fit?
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, burned out, or stuck—and ready for support—this may be a good fit. Or, if you are an educator working through a particular challenge, we may be able to help. If you find we not a good fit, we’re happy to help connect you with other resources.
