teaching and well-being.

Her mission is to advance pedagogical wellbeing by supporting educators, leaders, and caregivers in sustaining their practice without sacrificing their health, identity, or sense of purpose. With more than 25 years of experience across K–12 and higher education, she understands the emotional, cognitive, and physical toll of teaching, leadership, and caregiving roles.

It's time to bridge the gap.

Sheila is here to help you cross the bridge to get to where you want to be.

Hands-On Experience

Before founding Education | Wellness Collective Sheila took on these roles. She designed innovative curricula focused on global learning, social foundations of education, and intercultural engagement.

Sheila's Education & Mentality

Sheila’s work with immigrant and refugee families, trauma-informed school initiatives, and
academic recovery following a campus tragedy has shaped her integrative approach to education
and mental health. She recognizes that educators work within systems shaped by power,
privilege, and oppression, and that care must account for these realities.

Shelia uses:

Clinical Approach

Sheila creates a warm, supportive space where clients explore stress, anxiety, burnout, and life transitions. She helps clients:

Personal Life

Outside of her practice, Sheila enjoys growing, preparing, and sharing food from her garden, baking bread, and learning from new cultures and cuisines through travel. These practices ground her in patience, care, and connection—values that also guide her clinical work. Whether nurturing a garden or supporting clients through growth and change, Sheila believes in tending to what sustains us, honoring process over perfection, and creating space for restoration, meaning, and belonging.
